The British School, New Delhi was founded in 1963 to provide an education based on British standards and practice to children of British parents living in New Delhi.

The Lawrence School, Lovedale, (Tamil Nadu, India) was founded on September 6th, 1858, and is named after Maj Gen Sir Henry Lawrence, who first projected the idea of founding a school in the Nilgiris for children of serving soldiers and ex-soldiers of the British Army in India so that they could have the benefit of a sound education in a bracing and healthy climate.

Udgam School for Children was founded 40 years ago in a small building by Mrs. Sarojben Carvalho. Eventually the school grew and it was necessary to shift to a better premises.

This was in February 1956. Mylapore School Society was then very different from what it is today. The first president of the society was Sister Subbalakshmi, aided in every possible by Shri Subbaraya Aiyar, a leading lawyer of his time, and Mrs. Padmini Chari, Educationist. Thus the school was born on the 3rd February 1956, through the efforts of the three, and Vidya Mandir Matriculation School was formally opened in 1960.

The West Wind Kindergarten and Nursery School is a co-operative, non-profit institution that accommodates 70 odd students who range in age from three to five. The school is located at Oomer Park, just off Breach Candy, in Mumbai, India.

The school campus is spread over 80,000 sq. ft. The classrooms are large and spacious measuring 500 sq. ft. in area. The school also has audio-visual rooms and special activity rooms. The stage and assembly hall spread over 9000 sq. ft. will also serve as a school auditorium.
