The current machine is also a General Electric(GE), U.S.A. machine - Signa Contour(0.5 Tesla). This machine has been designed to provide excellent image quality with short scan cycle times. The system offers maximum flexibility in data handling and image display. This system provides performance of routine and specialized clinical examinations including diagnostic imaging of the central nervous system, spine, body (including MR cholangiogram), joints, extremities and vasculature (MRA-MR angiography) using a comprehensive range of pulse sequences and image enhancement techniques. Subsequently a GE CT Scanner and a BMD machine have been installed.
